A Low Voltage High Performance Self Cascode Current Mirror
A current mirror (CM) based on self cascode MOSFETs low voltage analog and mixed mode structures has been proposed. The proposed CM has high output impedance and can operate at 0.5 V. P-Spice simulations confirm the high performance of this CM with a bandwidth of 6.0 GHz at input current of 100 μA. Keywords—Current Mirrors, Composite Cascode Structure, Current Source/Sink.
متن کاملA Wide Range Level Shifter Using a Self Biased Cascode Current Mirror
Now a day’s demand of portable devices like multimedia devices, cellular phones, etc. are increasing and we are approaching towards handheld devices which are small in size and which requires large battery life. Power consumption has become most important design factor for VLSI circuits and system in low power devices. The Level shifter plays very critical role in low power devices. Level shift...
متن کاملA Current Steering Positive Feedback Improved Recycling Folded Cascode OTA
In the literature, Improved Recycling Folded Cascode (IRFC) Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA) is proposed for enhancing the DC gain and the Unity Gain Bandwidth (UGB) of the Recycling Folded Cascode (RFC) OTA. In this paper, an enhanced IRFC (EIRFC) OTA which uses positive feedback at the cascode node is proposed for enhancing the differential mode (DM) gain without changing the unit...
متن کاملA Power Efficient Gain Enhancing Technique for Current Mirror
This work introduces a new and simple method for adjusting the gain of current mirror. The major advantage of the proposed architecture is that, unlike the conventional variable gain current mirror, it does not need the change of the biasing current to adjust current gain. Therefore, the power dissipation remains constant in all of the gain settings. In addition, the proposed variable gain curr...
متن کاملAnalysis of low voltage bulk-driven self-biased high swing cascode current mirror
A novel low voltage self-biased high swing cascode current mirror (SHCCM) employing bulk-driven NMOS transistors is proposed in this paper. The comparison with the conventional circuit reveals that the proposed bulk-driven circuit operates at lower voltages and provides enhanced bandwidth with improved output resistance. The proposed circuit is further modified by replacing the passive resistan...
